NUTRITION

At Modern Créche and Preschool we believe healthy eating can stabilize children’s energy

and promote learning and play.

Our cooks provide a diverse menu of balanced and nutritious home cooked meals which
we believe encourages healthy eating habits and influences the child’s long term

relationship with food.

We work alongside parents to ensure the meals meet individual requirements such as the
weaning process, specific dietary requirements and food allergies and intolerances.

Mealtimes are fun and educational. We try to replicate the family environment and
encourage the children to set table, share and serve food and develop fine motor skills by

using spoons to eat.

HEALTH

  • At Modern Créche and Preschool we believe that a healthy child is a happy child.
  • We keep track of immunization records of all the children.
  • We have tie-up with Apollo Hospitals Guwahati for an annual Health Check up of our children by doctors of its Paediatric department.
  • For the benefit of parents & guardians we organise an annual workshop on Early Childcare and Education (ECCE) under expertise of experienced resource persons from the field of Paediatrics and clinical Psychology.
  • Prof. Gayatri Bezboruah, Department of Paediatrics, GMCH and Mrs. Nimi Borgohain, Chief Clinical Psychologist, GNRC, Dispur are honorary Life Members and expert advisors of Sishu Bikash Kendra.
  • Life Member of Sishu Bikash Kendra Dr. Rekha Khaund Borkotoky, MBBS, MD — Paediat- rics is Our consulting doctor.
